A refreshing and easy-to-make Homemade Iced Coffee recipe that combines chilled brewed coffee, flavored syrup, and creamy half-and-half or a milk alternative to create the perfect iced beverage for coffee lovers.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup chilled brewed coffee
  • 1/4 cup half-and-half or milk alternative
  • 2–3 teaspoons flavored coffee syrup
  • 4–6 coffee ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ice Cubes: Fill ice cube trays with brewed coffee and freeze until solid to create coffee ice cubes that won’t dilute your drink.
  2. Fill Glass with Ice Cubes: Place 4 to 6 coffee ice cubes into a large glass to chill your iced coffee effectively.
  3. Add Flavored Syrup: Pour 2 to 3 teaspoons of your favorite flavored coffee syrup over the ice cubes in the glass to add sweetness and flavor.
  4. Pour Chilled Coffee: Slowly pour 3/4 cup of chilled brewed coffee into the glass until it is about three-quarters full, allowing the syrup to mix smoothly.
  5. Add Cream or Milk Alternative: Fill the remaining space in the glass with 1/4 cup half-and-half or your preferred milk alternative for creaminess.
  6. Stir and Serve: Stir the mixture well to combine all ingredients evenly, then serve immediately to enjoy a refreshing iced coffee.

Notes

  • Use brewed coffee ice cubes to prevent dilution of your iced coffee as the ice melts.
  • Adjust the amount of flavored syrup to your taste preference for sweetness.
  • Choose any milk alternative such as almond, oat, or soy milk for a dairy-free version.
  • For a stronger coffee flavor, use a dark roast or espresso as the brewed coffee base.
  • Serve immediately for optimal taste and freshness.
