Description

Ingredients

Scale

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 can (13.5 ounces) coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons red curry paste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger

Dumplings and Garnishes

  • 1 bag (16 ounces) refrigerated or frozen dumplings (use your favorite kind)
  • Sliced green onion, for garnish
  • Chili oil crunch, for garnish
  • Cilantro, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit to prepare for baking the dumplings and sauce together.
  2. Make the Sauce: In a 9×13-inch baking dish, pour in the coconut milk, red curry paste, minced garlic, soy sauce, and ground ginger. Whisk everything together thoroughly until the sauce is smooth and well combined.
  3. Arrange the Dumplings: Place the refrigerated or frozen dumplings evenly over the surface of the sauce in the baking dish. Spoon some of the sauce over the top of the dumplings to keep them moist as they bake.
  4. Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven uncovered. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the dumplings are golden brown and the sauce is bubbly. If using frozen dumplings, extend the baking time by a few minutes to ensure they are fully cooked through.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Carefully remove the dish from the oven. Sprinkle the top with sliced green onions, chili oil crunch, fresh cilantro, and sesame seeds. Serve immediately while warm and enjoy your flavorful one-pan dumplings!

Notes

  • If using frozen dumplings, increase baking time by 3-5 minutes to ensure they are cooked through.
  • You can substitute low-sodium soy sauce with tamari for a gluten-free option.
  • Adjust red curry paste to taste for milder or spicier sauce.
  • Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 2 days and reheated in the oven or microwave.
  • Add extra vegetables like sliced bell peppers or snow peas into the sauce for added texture and nutrition.
